Lesson with Jack
Jack is exemplary as a ski instructor. Responsiveness and clarity of information before the lesson was excellent. Jack made sure to understand our specific goals for the lesson to make sure he could deliver what we asked, and he was (extraordinarily) quick to revert with our original outreach and subsequent questions. The lesson itself was well-planned and executed, combining techniques, theory, and practice into a thoughtful lesson which delivered what we had asked for (specifically, off-piste introduction) and gave us the confidence to take the next step in our skiing progress. As an instructor Jack is approachable, positive, and easy to communicate with, with a solid foundation of experience and knowledge. He made us feel at ease while also being careful to detail areas for improvement in our technique and skill set. Overall we were thoroughly impressed with Jack and would recommend him wholeheartedly

Mari did a fantastic job showing us around Niseko, even in very poor visibility. As someone who has been in her position (trying to guide people in the side-country/ backcountry) I understand how difficult and disorienting it can be, and she did an impressive job while also showing tremendous caution which was much appreciated. She also went out of her way to get videos & pictures of us, and gave ideas/recommendations on where to ride for the rest of our trip. Thanks Mari!
