Rodrigo Navarro

Hi, I'm Rodrigo — a Chilean ski instructor and guide. I've been skiing since age 3 — more than 35 years on snow — and in my youth I competed as a ski racer representing Chile. That racing background: precise technique, efficient lines, an eye for detail, is still at the heart of how I teach today.

Bio

Hi, I'm Rodrigo — a Chilean ski instructor and guide. I've been skiing since age 3 — more than 35 years on snow — and in my youth I competed as a ski racer representing Chile. That racing background: precise technique, efficient lines, an eye for detail, is still at the heart of how I teach today.

I've skied across much of the world: my home mountains in Chile, several seasons in Europe (mainly France and Switzerland), and for the past 5 years I've been working in Japan as a ski guide and coach. That mix of the Andes, the Alps, and Hokkaido's snow gives me a solid base for adapting to whatever terrain or conditions you find yourself in.

My lessons are built for skiers who already know how to handle the mountain and want to take the next real step — not complete beginners. My focus is turning "I ski well" into "I ski very well": refining technique, building confidence in variable snow and more demanding terrain, and fixing the small habits holding you back. Every session is shaped around your level and goals, and on guided days I read the terrain closely to put you on the best snow available that day. At 38, I'm still chasing the same thing I was at 3: the best run of the day — and I love helping you find yours.
I was a CARV ambassador last season and use it regularly with clients chasing a higher score and a clearer picture of where their technique needs work.
