Misako Takahashi

I’m a Japanese ski instructor who has been living and skiing in Niseko for many years, and sharing this incredible place with visitors is something I truly love.

With more than 10 years of teaching experience, I teach everyone from first-time skiers to advanced riders, and from 3years old to adults of all ages.

For me, a ski lesson is about much more than technique. I want you to experience the excitement of sliding on snow for the first time, the confidence that comes from improving, and the unforgettable feeling of enjoying a winter day in Japan.

Because this is my home, I care deeply about making your time here special. I know the mountains, the snow, and the local atmosphere that make Niseko unique, and I love helping guests discover not only better skiing, but also the warmth and beauty of Japan itself.

Whether it’s your very first run or you’re looking to take your skiing to the next level, my goal is to create a lesson that is fun, supportive, and memorable — one that leaves you smiling at the end of the day and wanting to return to Niseko again and again.

※Please note that, due to the Niseko ski resort rules, we are not allowed to meet at Hanazono and Niseko village, we can start a lesson from Hirafu or Annupuri
