Joseph Hunter

I have three seasons of experience teaching skiing in Japan and Switzerland, including Niseko and Andermatt, and I hold my BASI Level 2 qualification.

My teaching style is relaxed, clear and adaptable. I like to understand what each guest wants from the lesson and then adjust the session around their ability, confidence and goals. I focus on keeping explanations simple, giving useful feedback and making sure guests spend as much time as possible actually skiing rather than standing around.

Guests can expect a friendly and enjoyable lesson with a strong focus on progression. Whether they are complete beginners, looking to improve their technique or simply wanting more confidence around the mountain, I aim to create a positive environment where they feel comfortable challenging themselves and leave the lesson feeling that they have genuinely improved.
