Bio
Hello, my name is Jonathan, although all my friends call me Jon Jon. I have been teaching snowboarding since 2010 and over those years I have had the opportunity to teach in Canada’s east and west coast, Japan and Australia.
This will be my 23rd season in the industry and my 7th season in Niseko. I keep coming back to Niseko because it has my favorite terrain to ride, powder through the trees! My knowledge and experience at Niseko and surrounding resorts will make your experience in the area one of a kind.
My riding style is developed from the CASI (Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors) system, where I have achieved my level 4 and deliver level 1-2 courses as an evaluator. I’m big on the “less talk more rock” philosophy, meaning I’m going to burn your legs out everyday and hopefully not talk your ear off.
