Bio
I started my career as a ski instructor in Beaver Creek, Colorado, where I found my teaching style on the resort's groomed runs and challenging terrain. Drawn to Japan's legendary powder and unique mountain culture, I made the move to Niseko, where my passion is helping people explore the mountain and discover everything Hokkaido has to offer.
I love guiding skiers through the full Japanese ski experience—from mastering powder techniques to sharing local insights about the best ramen spots, onsen to soak in after a long day, and hidden runs that most visitors never find. My approach combines technical precision with an understanding of what makes skiing here special—from reading the ever-changing snow conditions to navigating tree runs through the birch forests.
My experience across two continents gives me insight into different skiing styles and how to adapt my instruction to each skier's goals, whether you're taking your first turns in powder or looking to refine your technique in Hokkaido's unique conditions. Or you just want to ski the best lines over and over again, I’m your guy!
