Bio

Hi, I'm Alice!

I've spent the last four winters exploring Niseko and love helping visitors discover everything that makes skiing here so special. There's nothing I enjoy more than seeing someone achieve something they didn't think they could. Whether you're a nervous skier, a parent wanting to feel more confident skiing with your children, or a child taking their first turns, my goal is to help you build confidence, enjoy the mountain, and leave with a smile.

What you can expect from a lesson with me

Confidence-first coaching

I specialise in helping nervous skiers of all ages build confidence on the mountain. Whether you're linking your first turns, returning to skiing after a break, or working towards that black run you've always avoided, I'll help you progress at a pace that feels comfortable while gently encouraging you to push beyond what you thought was possible.

A fun experience for kids

Helping children fall in love with skiing is one of my favourite parts of the job. My lessons are fun, engaging, and focused on building confidence, creating a positive experience that keeps kids excited to learn and eager to come back for more.

Local knowledge

After four winters in Niseko, I know where to find the best conditions each day and I'm always happy to share recommendations for restaurants, cafés, onsens, and places to explore around town.

Lessons built around your goals

No two skiers are the same. Whether you want to improve your technique, explore more of the resort, or simply enjoy a relaxed day on the mountain, I'll tailor every lesson to what you want to achieve.

If you have any questions about lessons, your skiing goals, or planning your trip, I'd be happy to help. Feel free to send me a message—I look forward to meeting you on the slopes!

Reviews

  • We enrolled our girls (ages 8 and 6) in three days of ski lessons, four hours each day, and they came back to us every single time with the biggest smiles on their faces. They felt confident, happy, and truly enjoyed their skiing experience. Our youngest even cried her eyes out saying goodbye and made me promise to take her on another ski trip next year—that’s how much she loved it. Thank you so much, Alice
